Tasty Tuesday - We Are NOT Food

Sometimes things disguise themselves as food. But they are NOT food.

Like this burger over here. It's not a burger at all.
It's a bunch of PILLOWS!! (found here)

I think that pillows really want attention! (found here)

And then there are these wonderful crochet sculptures made by BeNice2Mice

How would you like to lay down on a giant sunny-side-up egg?

AGO Massive Party

Last Thursday I attended the AGO Massive Party which is an annual fundraiser.
It was themed after the muse and patron of the arts, Marchesa Luisa Casati.

I drank a fair share of red wine and traveled up to the quieter floors where I could sit and enjoy the solitude, and the fuzziness in my brain. Viewing art when a little tipsy is really quite lovely.
It wasn't hard for my hair to look the part, since it's short and curly.
My make-up and earrings were inspired by Louis Vuitton, and I made my earrings prior to leaving the house.
The incredible embroidered robe was borrowed from Fiyola.

What IS awesomesauce?

ATTENTION:
we have taken awesome, made sauce out of it, and now we have AWESOMESAUCE!!!

Yes, awesomesauce exists. But what is it exactly?
Check out this stuff and you'll get the gist:

When you wish for a castle, is it made of cardboard?
This cardboard castle was made by Ann Wood as a window display for Johnson's in New York City.

Do you get there with the help of your trusty bicycle horse?
This was made by Eungi Kim from Korea. He calls it "Horsey".

And here is a vid called "Game Over" made by PES, who really and truly IS the king of the stop-motion animation realm.
It is, of course, awesomesauce:

If you have things that are "awesomesauce", send them to me at andymcparrot@gmail.com

DO MO KUN

My friend Barb loves Domokun.
I think he looks like like a big chocolate bar with teeth!
Here are some Domokun pics for Barb!

And if you want to print out this next image, you can create your own 3D paper craft Domokun. The image in THIS LINK may be bigger and easier to use.

Halloween 2009

Dr. Benson Honeydew and his trusty assistant Beeker demonstrate the proper use of the
"Decide O'Meter":
When you pull on the lever, the "Decide O'Meter" spins around to determine your inner-most thoughts and desires. The blinking satellite held by Beeker reads your brain-waves and communicates the patterns to the main processing unit causing it to land on such things as "Take a Shot!", and "Take a Provocative Photo with Beeker and Honeydew".

Halloween 2009

What am I going to be for Halloween this year?
I think I'm going to try and be one of these guys:

Nine Ten Donuts

Today's Nintendo-ey theme was inspired by the following insane song.
It changes around the 3 minute mark, and then again around 4:30:
